Mike and Kate have two sons Jeffrey and Andrew. Jeff also trained at Hadlow College in Agriculture and Horticulture and has a passion for livestock. Rearing the cows, pigs and sheep and growing a large proportion of their feed. Jeff has been responsible for the butchery department since 2005.
Andrew achieved a degree in Rural Land Management from The Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester in 2005, and after working in the surveying field for two years wanted to get back to his roots in Agriculture. He put his degree and knowledge of farming to use by planning and overseeing every step of the Gibsons Farm Shop build.
The passion and the ambition of the third generation of Gibsons at Little Crockshard Farm pushed forward the construction of a custom built Farm Shop proudly trading under the family name which opened in summer 2010.
As our little business has grown through the years we have wanted to expand the premises so that we can offer even more locally produced foods, drinks and gifts. Our objective is to act a storefront for Kent producers. 2018 saw us realise our dream, adding a deli, bakery and drinks section.
